Petit Kolibri

Petit Kolibri is based in Berlin and made with lots of love and care in Colombia. Started by Emilia Torres to get our children authentic, natural and organic clothes. Emilia believes that the products our children touch should be as pure and untreated as possible. And I could not agree more.

I know it is not always easy but when we have the choice I believe we should take it!

And when things look this nice the choice is not hard to make either. I am happy that today we really have the possibility to get stylish things that are good for us and our earth as well.

All accessories {like the hats for example} are hand-made from “supreme” baby alpaca – the highest alpaca quality. {And I can vouch, they are amazingly soft and lovely to touch at.} Everything else is made from high quality alpaca as well. Both are 100% un-died yarns. The purest natural material for our little ones.

You know how much I love the simple styles and how much I love knitted things. Based in Berlin – I am in love and cannot wait to see more and follow Emilia’s journey.

OMY – Christmas collection

After our cosy breakfast last Saturday we started the holiday season.

I took out some goodies from OMY for the kids – a giant Christmas tree coloring poster, Christmas coloring place mats, party hats {to be colored too} and some other little things… all my kids love to color so I knew this would be a hit and a great way to get in the festive mood.

We hung the poster in the kitchen – it is the heart of the house. And I was right, the kids instantly grabbed the pens and started coloring. The poster has some extra fun things as well – Leonor took care of the glow-in-the-dark stickers, Antoine did all the connect-the-dots and Josephine made sure the whole thing will stay put. And as you can see there is a little mess in the background. True week end atmosphere in the house.

Over the next weeks we will see the tree getting decorated and becoming colourful. I will keep you updated via my Instagram.

This Saturday we will have friends over for lunch. A family – we will definitely spread out some more of these place mats – a great way to keep the kids entertained and often they like to take them home too. {family friendly restaurants take note!}

Leonor took her high chair to sit down so she could reach better and her arms relax a little. Clever little lady!

All my kids love sushi. They also love to make them and especially my eldest would be a very happy girl with some sushi-tastic little things. Just in and already on your favourite kids fashion blog. Just kidding! But serisously, NUNUNU presents its first resort collection!
