Playful and contemporary designs for the kids’ room

In London we are enjoying a very gloomy day with nonstop rain. Therefore I needed to share something to cheer myself and everyone in the same position up! And, if I may say so, I am pretty sure that I nailed it with today’s selection.

Studio Loco is a Belgian home decor brand that brings some quirky, interesting and stylish pieces to the children’s rooms around the world.
The cool name comes from founder Nathalie’s children, Louise and Colette by the way.

And her mission is to inspire children and encouraging creativity.

What can we find? Super fun and encouraging prints, a cute range of homeware and, my favourites, some really awesome tapestry*. The beauty of tapestry is its versatility. Either hang it on wall, use it as a bedspread, or even as a floor mat – your house, your choice!

Now, let’s have a closer look what captures a child’s carefree sense of adventure and imagination:

From rainbows, to important messages, over to jolly friends. I think the link between being playful and made for children and including awareness is beautiful!

An illustrated and enchanting world for little people

The world of Marine is a very special one. Beautifully illustrated cushions, muslins, prints, and more accessories for the little people in our lives.

‘At Minimaki we like hot chocolates and big knitted socks. We like pumpkin soup and walking in the forest to play in the autumn leaves. And we also like toasting chestnuts in the fireplace and getting together with family to draw.’

These adorable, delicately illustrated and poetic accessories are warming my heart. And they are so perfect for this Autumn.

Children (and grown ups) love fairy tales, imagining characters, dreaming, and just being free. Marine brings a magical universe to life on textiles and it will accompany your child in his explorations and discovery of the world.

Let’s have a look at this illustrated and enchanting world for little people:

And? What do you say? Isn’t this gorgeous and so poetic?

My favourites are definitely the fantastic animal world map and the watercolour animal shaped cushions.
