Breakfast international {Paul & Paula series} part ten

siobhan

Name: Siobhan

Where do you live: Hamburg, Germany

Kids name and age: Zeki (4) and Arda (7 months)

What do they have for breakfast: Breakfast in our house is a big deal, as the only time we can eat it together as a family is at the weekends. Being a multicultural family (Irish and Turkish, living in Germany), we enjoy a wide range of food from respective homelands.

The photo shows a typical breakfast for us which includes fresh crispy bread rolls from the bakery, Turkish garlic sausages (sucuk) fried with eggs along with sheep cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, sliced chicken meat, sliced cheese, honey, homemade jam and of course, Nutella :-) We always drink lovely Turkish black tea at breakfast. My husband also is a big fan of tinned baked beans in tomato sauce along with fried or scrambled eggs, fried tomatoes, mushrooms and potato cakes.

We also like to vary breakfasts at the weekends and in particular my four year son loves to help make pancakes (toppings would be Nutella, banana, lemon juice, sugar or cheese) or French toast (with the same toppings).

{Thank you Siobhan to share your breakfast rituals with us.}

PS: There is a cool give away coming along a bit later today… stay tuned everyone!
