The new Spring/ Summer for this year just launched and it is so good.

The collection is called CHAPEAU and, again, you can see Ines’ roots. The architect turned designer is bringing us perfectly cut dresses and tops for this season.

Added some stripes and a vibrant mustard and perfect is our summer wardrobe!

Kids rooms with plants

Kids rooms with plants

via The Animal Print Shop

Urban Jungle, green living or the garden inside your house. Plants are indispensable in our homes and they do add their special touch and charm in kids rooms too.

I really cannot imagine to live in a home without green. (the same goes for books by the way)
Plants just change the whole feeling and atmosphere.

And since it is Interior Tuesday here today, I found some lovely kids rooms with plants to give you some inspiration. To make you go and add a pot into the little ones room in case it is missing.

What do you think? Easy to care for plants are always a good idea. Great pots or baskets add another lovely accessory.
Some can even purify your air or take the ivy. Super versatile and available in all kinds of colors and shapes, this climbing vine helps clear out formaldehyde.

Or, totally ‘in’ at the moment again, the hearty rubber plant. Eradicating nasty formaldehyde and can tolerate cooler temperatures and low light. Just water it and you are good!

Eden & Zoe S/S 2018

Eden & Zoe S/S 2018
The new collections are landing in stores and online. And even when we are all freezing here in Europe it is nice to see some warmth in the look books.

The days are getting longer and once the ‘Beast from the East’ is over we can think about beautiful tutus and summer dresses like the ones from Eden & Zoe.

“In harmony with nature” is the inspiration for the new Spring/Summer collection.

I have visited numerous Japanese gardens throughout the years, both in Japan and in other countries. And I am always struck by the serenity and precise balance of the landscape. Central to the design of a Japanese garden is the appreciation and respect for nature, and the wish to live in harmony with one’s surroundings.

says Melissa, founder & designer of Eden & Zoe

Every element of the garden has a purpose, and every detail is contemplated. Attention to detail is key, and the beauty is in the details. Likewise for Melissa’s designs. Every button, zip and seam is thoughtfully placed. And every design feature on the clothing is carefully considered.

Combining classic knit patterns with floral and nature inspired cotton fabrics to design flowing summer dresses and skirts. As well as playful outfits for both boys and girls.

And again Melissa’s daughters played a big role in the designs again. Eden requested the drop waist floral Christy dress. Zoe had the idea about the twirl-worthy Gisele dress. And Elise loves the multi-layered Karlie tutu skirt.

In addition to the classic Eden & Zoe palette of grey, pink and white, this collection adds bold new colors such as bright purple and magenta for girls, and military green for boys. Sizing runs from newborn up to size 12.

The photo shoot was done in the Japanese Garden in San Mateo Central Park. Perfect match with the collection. The garden is the epitome of serenity and beauty, and has a granite pagoda, tea house, koi pond and bamboo grove among other picturesque features.
