Esther lives in Rotterdam, NL and has a son named Flint.I met her at the Little Fashion Week in Brussels and she is a lovely and quirky person.

Here are her five {and Flint’s} favourite books:

1. Jip & Janneke
Funny stories about two well known Dutch characters, written by famous Dutch writer Annie M.G. Schmidt.
{there is an English version of Jip&Janneke available too}

2. Rupsje Nooitgenoeg
Flint loves the colours of the butterfly in the end.

3. Tel je mee Nijntje
Flint counts almost everything right now, so this book is great to practice

4. Kip wil graag zijn
About a girls who loves to dance and with beautiful graphics. ‘Look mom, I’m a ballerina’ says Flint when he’s standing on his toes, with his hands in the air. Sooo adorable :)

Flint doesn’t need a diaper anymore, but he loves the ‘potty song’ at the end of this book. And we’re singing this song as loud as we can every time :)

Kelle lives in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom and is mum to one cute boy and one sweet little lady. She blogs on Maggie Stone about fun kids things and is sharing their 5 favourite books here today.

1. MOUK
Marc Boutavant is an incredible illustrator and we love all of his books but Mouk is our favourite. We love exploring each country Mouk visits. The illustrations and colours are stunning and you also get stickers to use too.

2. Where the Wild Things are
This book is timeless and a must for every bookshelf. The illustrations are so wonderful it’s a favourite book in our house, the simple and magical story is enjoyed by us all.

3. An Awesome Book Of Thanks
An Awesome Book Of Thanks is an amazing way to show children how much we have to be thankful for. It’s such a lovely book with quirky and fun illustrations to go with the great message.

4.Zoo-ology
Zoo-ology is as BIG hit as it is in size. The pages are full of gorgeous illustrations of every kind of animal you can imagine. It’s the perfect learning tool and I love how the group the animals together in pattens, size etc.

5. The Day The Crayons Quit
This is one of the newer additions to our collection. It’s a really clever story and very funny too. I’m pretty sure this will appeal to all ages and I’m sure we’ll be reading it still in years to come.
