Hello Hello… we are going straight into March and with my children going back to school in a week, I can (again) finally focus more on my projects again. Phew…

One quote that, for me personally, really hits the nail on the head these days is: ‘You grow with your challenges!’
And we do. And therefore, we are still able to keep going, to see the positive side effects, and to be resilient.

But let’s not get to spiritual because that is not really my area. However I am very aware that by now the UK is doing quite well when it comes to vaccines and planning. And we were presented with a plan that shows a light at the end of the tunnel. Such a relief. And I know that maybe in your home country the situation can be very different.

Summer Staples for the whole family!

We had the most gorgeous month of May and even so we are not going far (for now) we got our summer dresses, shorts, and sandals out.

And when talking to friends, mostly online, I heard a lot of questions about clothes shopping for children because things start to become small and/or too warm.

Can there be a better invitation than that to browse around and gather some lovely summer staples for the little ones? And to make it even more fun, I added some cool stuff for mums too. My personal wish list so to say…

So, there is a summer list for baby, then for boys and girls, teens, and last but not least for mums. And if you have been around here for a bit you know how much I love the smaller brands, and the more timeless and classic with a modern touch look. Things that you can and will keep for a long time, pass on to siblings, and things that will become real staples in the wardrobe.

Mischievous Magic with Tocoto Vintage

Bonjour from France! Spanish children’s wear brand Tocoto Vintage just launched their new collection and it is called The Bazaar Paris.

Inviting you to discover hidden secrets and mischievous magic. It is a beautiful collection (as always!) and I love all the mix and match and layering possibilities. Gorgeous knits, some glitter and magic, romantic flower prints, some ruffles and tulle. All mixed with delicious animals prints, palazzo pants, and faux fur accessories.

A really great collection that includes many fabrics, textures, and prints. Which means that there is lots to play with…

And some outfits are really so adorable that I would not mind them in my own wardrobe. Talking about that lovely leopard print skirt and knitted jumper on the second picture for example.

Did you spot the flashes of metallic lurex, sheepskin, corduroy with lace, and ruffle pom-poms.

And the shoe collection is getting better and better too!

Cool yet sophisticated kid’s styles for Autumn

I know, I know… you do not want to really hear about Autumn collections at the moment. I get it.

B U T exceptions are there to break the rules and sometimes things are just too good to not to be shared. So just try to think outside the box a little and about finding the best pieces of the new season before they are gone.

Belgian brand Morley has been a favourite of mine for a long time (and you know that). And I just came across their new lookbook and also discovered that the new collection is already in the shops*.
Yay!

The Autumn/ Winter season is always a tad more interesting (than summer) because there is just more to mix and match. More textures, fabrics and details. Knits, blouses, collars, and quirky socks. Plenty to play with!
