Make your own ice cream

I have a passion for food and I love to try out new things, which I happily transfered to KleinR as well (KleinA is too small to tell) who enjoys eating and tries nearly everything you place in front of her.
Having the hottest dutch summer ever made me going creative with things to cool us down.
ICE CREAM…

I bought a box of good vanilla ice cream and took it out of the freezer.
Chopped 5 strawberries, washed a box of raspberries and chopped around 5 fresh mint leaves.
Placed the ice cream in a big bowl and added my fruits and mint.
Now I added some orange blossom water – around a teaspoon, but I strongly recommend you start with less especially if you have never used it before. Orange blossom water has a very rich flavour and a bit too much can turn your ice cream in something “too heavy- too much- not refreshing anymore”, so start with 3 / 4 drops, taste and see if you like more!
Put it back in the box and freeze for a while…enjoy!
We really, really liked it… such a nice summer taste!
