On Sunday I went to the first kids show of the year – Kleine Fabriek – here in Amsterdam.
Apart from seeing the new collection it is always a good moment to meet people that you usually talk to via Twitter or email.
I found and saw some wonderful designs and people as well. I will show you my pictures and favourites the coming days and I hope you will like them as much as I do.
The exhibition space is beautiful with lots of light and space however I was slightly disappointed by 2 things:
1. Too much street wear. You know Diesel, Replay and all the little brothers and sisters. Jeans, Jeans, Jeans and lots of big labels {on the clothes} everywhere. However I do know that it is what people like here… and the stands were busy :)
Just not really inspiring altogether.
2. Too many agents. I hardly met any designer at the stands.. such a pity I think as I really enjoyed to see and meet them in Paris last year.
These are just 2 little points and of course my very personal opinion and feeling.
