For a long time I was looking for a guitar for the kids. We do have all kinds of instruments at home already but a guitar was missing, mainly because the ones I found in the shops looked like a guitar but the sounds they make had nothing to do with it…

And of course it should be a piece that can handle 2 small kids…

The confetti series includes various instruments (we do have the harmonica as well) and apart from the great look (dots) these are instruments that make the sound you might expect and they are sturdy!

Anyway, this toy is definitely one of the most played with in our house. By both kids and it still looks like new. KleinR rocking around with it and KleinA, well…. I guess you know…. he is now 17 months and we have it for a while, so believe me… this guitar has seen some tough moments :)

One Saturday morning the kids were playing a concert for us and I snapped some pics…

PS: …. if you looked really “sharp” you might have noticed that in fact, this is an ukelele, cause… me all excited… did not see it when I bought it… but the fun and happiness is just the same… :)

PSS: The last picture shows you that my daughter is still obsessed with band aids and sometimes just sticks them one everything and everybody… this morning her little brother…
