Hana Blomst

Hana Blomst – Hana and Blomst mean flower in japanese and in danish, the first two words of the designers`,Helle and Junichi, daughter.
I always love to read how a brand or design started, how they found a name and the reason behind. Hana Blomst is a meeting of two completely different cultures: the Danish culture and the Japanese one. Delicate poetry and simplicity of Japanese design and streamlined shapes of Danish design. A pink swan, an orange sheep or a blue elephant are drawn on porcelain mugs, plates and bowls for a line of soft and poetic dishes that children (and me) love to look at.
How could anyone possibly resist?
I think it is very special though and would make a fantastic gift.
Available through smallable.
