Not everyone is living in a big house or spacious apartment. Especially families in big cities are probably using every inch they have. That is why I always look to see inspiring rooms that share ideas on how to maximise space.

For today’s interior article I found these 5 rooms that really got the ‘living small but big’ thing down. Clever installations that use the space very well and integrate beds and storage as well as work space.

Which means that the rooms leave some to play and have fun as well!

Two kids sleep and even got a little cabin on the top. I am sure lots of fun is going on in there… Perfectly built between the ceiling and the door, so clever!

Clean, minimal and cool. The room probably does not always look this tidy but wow… two beds and lots of storage in the cupboards.

Cute beds with room for lots of books and other treasures. And some more space for toys and ‘things’ in the drawers underneath.

Two houses in a house. Giving two kids their own bedroom with incorporated storage. There is even an attached ladder on the end that leads to a playhouse with geometric openings for looking out. The drawers under the beds can be used for more storage or sleep guests.

The bed-house! With two beds inside and a playroom on top. The desks for the two children are built in on the left and right of the room as well. Super functional and clever!
