Leonor Feijó and Marta Belo are the creative minds behind Little Hands, an illustration company that specializes in wallpapers for children.

There is nothing worse than Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh smiling from a kids room wall. (apart from not meeting my taste I think they are just too much, too loud…) A child’s room should be whimsical and these illustrations are excellent and provide such an inspirational dreamworld for kids to escape to.

The wallpapers can be ordered in various sizes and will fit perfectly on your wall, you just have to give the measurements you need! It even can be personalised by choosing a favourite character or theme and then Feijó and Belo will do the composition.

Check out their blog to see a few kids rooms with the wallpaper…

And you should definitely check out the rest of their page as well, you will find beautiful illustrations of girls, faces and animals.

Easy DIY – dotty kids tee

Printing with potatoes was on my list for a very long time, but is it really so easy and what about the result? Can I show it? Did you ever try it?

After some thinking I decided on the easiest thing to do: dots…
I mean, cut a potatoe in half, ink and stamp away….

The tee was in a condition that a bad result would have been ok and because we just started Autumn I thought some happy colours might be good. We will have enough grey in this coming season!

The inks are fabric inks from versacraft and read here for some really helpful tips on fabric stamping!

What do you think? KleinR loves her new tee…
