Beija Flor

Beija Flor

Our kitchen has this beautiful wooden floor. And our kitchen is home to a little lady who only enjoys food she can eat all by herself…

Which means we cover the floor to keep things a little in check. And have a look, there is an alternative to the boring see through plastic thingies. There is Beija Flor!
High quality vinyl mats that re-introduce the beauty of ancient tiles. The patterns are based on authentic tiles rediscovered from the past, each of them very eye-catching and also very modern in their own way. Created in their design studio, each mat is built to last from extra durable and strong PVC resulting in easy maintenance.

They truly have the best vinyl mats. The best. It is so hard to choose just one believe me…

These mats instantly enhance and beautify any living space. When I put ours in the kitchen it made such a difference and still makes me smile all the time. It reminds me of the South, the sun and happy days. It is perfect!

The mats are available in 8 different sizes and in over 60 designs. Use them as a kitchen mat {like we do}, bathroom rug, an area mat or even a full size ‘carpet’. The mats are super practical, stay completely flat and do not move or wrinkle.

Beija Flor is based in Israel and was founded by Maya Kounievsky in 2007. They do ship worldwide!

Sommer und Kinder

Sommer und Kinder
Sommer und Kinder is one of my favourite labels when it comes to knits! I discovered them nearly 4 years ago {check here} and I just love their style – great basics that go with everything in the best colours.

The brand just updated their website and now has its own online shop. That plus the new A/W collection – I just needed to share with you.

When I look at the pictures I can think about berries and autumn. Beautiful blue, violet, pink and rose tones – vibrant colours combined with very high quality merino knits.

Their hats are the cutest {see here my little Josephine} – keeps everything incl. the ears warm and has the scarf included.

Have a look, I am sure you will enjoy the collection as much as I do {a good warm jumper goes a long way} and the brand even has a little ‘opening’ treat going on – you get 15% off on your order until September 30. Yeah!

Done by Deer is still a rather young brand that grew really quickly and found fans easily with their quirky, bright and Scandinavian design. It started with little toys and accessories for babies and small kids, became ‘go to’ brand when looking for a great newborn or first birthday gift… and now… now they include really good furniture too!

The baby cot converts to accommodate your child’s needs and development and will take your tiny one up through the toddler years.

The base has two adjustable height settings and the front rail can be removed or replaced by a bed guard to become a bed for a toddler or a comfortable sofa where you can enjoy cozy moments with your child.

Create a cozy and practical changing station by adding the top changer to the storage rack, which offers plenty of space with the possibility of adding specially made soft storage baskets.

When the changing table, has been outgrown, the rack will find the perfect use for storing toys and books.
