Cuckoo Little Lifestyle at home

Cuckoo Little Lifestyle at home

Hello. How do you like the interiors I am showing you these last weeks? I am quite enjoying it and next to fashion, toy and furniture it is just another angle of the kids world. Our world, the one we live in. Where we gather all these nice things and objects…

Oh and I thought that Tuesday might just be the “Interior Day’ here on Paul & Paula from now on.

Let’s continue and look at Cuckoo Little Lifestyle‘s co-founder Emily’s home. I think it absolutely reflects her shops style and atmosphere. Even more – this is probably their best showroom. Haha…

What do you think? As a true bunting lover I like to see that other people like to hang more than one as well and with all the Numero74 spread around, everything just matches perfectly.

The cosy corners that can be used for quiet moments, reading or even naps are lovely and that vintage cabinet. Oh my! Storage baskets and fluffy pillows galore, powder tones for the girls and we all want to be small again and move right in here…

You know we like to travel and that we re-locate from time to time. And really the thought of having a new space to ‘play with’, to decorate, to fit in our belongings and treasures like it is a big puzzle makes me really excited.

And even when we stay around our place is always changing. Growing up. We find new angles, have a teenager at home {how did that happen?!}, fell in love with a special piece or or or… the thought of being in the same place, that always looks the same is really strange to me. {no offense to anyone here}

Have a lovely day!

Boho Baby Heaven

Boho Baby Heaven
Good Morning! Today I am taking you on a boho journey. I think it is a great way to start a new week and when I discovered this etsy shop last week I was smitten straight away.

Boho Baby Heaven* was founded by Mariann & Inez, a mother-daughter duo based in Debrecen, Hungary.

Their creative adventure really took off when Inez became pregnant with her son, Milán, almost 6 years ago.
Inez was never a fan of dinosaurs, robots and cars for little boys. And could hardly find things that she really liked in the shops.
Together with her Mum they started to gather ideas for Milán’s nursery and got amazing feedback from their friends.

This led them to consider the opening of an Etsy shop in 2013…

In 2016 the shop became a bohemian style makeover and today you can find original designs that are handmade with love and great attention to detail.

Creating heirloom soft toys, blankets and baby sleeping bags, play-mats that can be cherished and passed down to generations to come.

I really like those first birthday bibs*. The embroidery is stunning and this really makes a great photo prop that can be used afterwards.

The Llama mobiles are the cutest and just love who these two created such a charming universe.

Hello Autumn {Friday list}!

marupaulpaula

I know, talking about the weather is nothing super exciting or a good reason why you are here. But please just let me have a little rant – enough with the rain!
And the wind. The combination is a killer.

So next – how are you? All the kids {around the globe} are back to school aren’t they? We are already thinking about our next trips, one way to escape the rain…even it is just in our minds, but first we will go to Germany for the Autumn Break and meet the newest member of our family. I am an auntie now!

Cabbages & Kings A/W 2017

Cabbages & Kings
The last time I wrote about Cabbages & Kings was back in 2015. At that time the brand was focused on knitted accessories. Now we are in 2017 and Alex Gizela added many more garments to her assortment. Especially in summer you can now find some gorgeous hand-embroidered Mexican dresses.
Inspiration for the designs comes from Alex’ global travels. From the Andean Valleys of Peru and Bolivia to Mexico City, Chiapas and Oaxaca.

Revealing stories of cultural heritage through pattern and color creating special clothes for babies and children.

The result are beautiful designs with a bohemian feel and garments that are meticulously manufactured by local communities in Central Mexico, South America and Peru.
The brand strongly adheres to Fair Trade practices, working with NGOs and other organizations to financially and socially empower workers, bridging the divide between artisan excellence and social responsibility.
