Leonor’s & Josephine’s birthdays

Leonor's & Josephine's birthdays

September is a very busy month in our house {not that the others are boring …ha…}.  Back to the routine after the summer break, the husband always very charged with work and two birthdays to celebrate.

Leonor and Joséphine are exactly one week apart with their special day. Leonor turned 5 this year which meant that she threw her very first party with friends. A small, cosy and very selected party because for a long time she was not sure if she actually wanted one. My girl gets easily overwhelmed with too many people around.

And the little munchkin turned 2. Unbelievable.

We celebrated. Baked lots of cakes. Sang birthday songs. Decorated the house and saw happy eyes and lots of laughter.

Funny enough one brand – House of Jamie – that I got to know and followed since their first steps, celebrated a big anniversary two. They also turned 5 and launched a special Party Collection!

I still remember when I first met Barbara in Amsterdam and her then headquarter – her living room. With baby Leonor in tow. 5 years on, we celebrate and I can see my girls in these adorable tulle dresses and see why I love my job so much. Congratulations House of Jamie, it is so exciting seeing your journey.

October started. Autumn is here and when we need a little mood lift we take those happy dresses out and dance! It helps, promise!

Bonpoint S/S 2018

Bonpoint S/S 2018
It is Friday and this week truly just flew by.  And I am happy to send you off with some sunshine and bright colors. With the images from the catwalk show and Bonpoint looks for summer 2018 !

Artistic director Christine Innamorato sent the children on the runway wearing delicate summer flower crowns or huge floppy hats. Adorned with butterflies!

Some going barefoot {love!} and others wearing leather sandals or espadrilles. Needless to say that the dresses were stunning -it is Bonpoint in the end – yet really rather colorful for the traditional French brand.

Boråstapeter - Scandinavian Designers Mini
Hej! I am in Berlin for the day but want to show you something fun from our current home country – Sweden. Boråstapeter has a fun kids collection called Scandinavian Designers Mini and here you can find lots of lovely wallpapers for nurseries and kids rooms.

Some of them even have the famous designs from Elsa Beskow, Stig Lindberg and BRIO. So if you love the design classics from Brio this might be a great way to bring them into your house. This one for example with their famous wooden toys.

Scandinavian Designers Mini is a collection of children’s wallpapers that showcase Scandinavian heritage featuring fantastic patterns from some of Sweden’s foremost children’s artists and playtime inspirations.

Playful nostalgia and beloved fairy tale figures meet contemporary looks and lively wallpaper patterns that stimulate children’s creativity and imagination. Bring playfulness onto your walls!

A great wallpaper can change every room and I love how they managed to keep these prints very classy and stylish. The color combinations are great and really add elegance to a room.

I really like this vibrant design too – or the mix of Swedish children’s characters brought into a wallpaper.  I am sure children would enjoy this very much….

Bohemian vintage and modern family home in Malmo

Bohemian vintage and modern family home in Malmo

Hej! It is Tuesday and yes, it means it is Interior Day here.

Yay. We are right back in Sweden. In Malmo to be precise, our current hometown and also home to some serious cool places and interiors. This place is the home of Lina and her family. Lina runs one of my favorite shops here in the city called Miloii {always good for a fix of A.P.C. for me…psssst} and she is an interior stylist too. Her home is her showroom!

I love the grey wall in the living room, leaving space for all the great furniture and deco objects. A great mix of vintage finds and design classics. Modern must-haves and quirky pieces. You just want to keep looking at the images and discover every little piece of this charming home…
