Top 5 kids shops in London

After Amsterdam and Berlin, we turn to London today. Another huge city and choosing just 5 shops is not an easy task.

Caramel Baby & Child

“…because it is a very personal company – it’s me and people I know. It’s a business like one of those big family meals they have in Italy, intimate and real. It feels human to me, and I believe our customers feel so too, because there is no advertising, no PR hype or celebrities. People usually hear about my clothes by word of mouth.
I best know the 2 shops on Brompton Road and Sloane Square and these 2 feel like heaven. Spending hours going around and going around. Everything is so pretty. Beautiful high quality clothes that last forever and stay “in” forever too.

Tip: They have – EXCLUSIVE – the Marni kids collection on board.

Elias & Grace

elias-grace

You might know Elias & Grace as an online shop but long before that they already opened a very nice (and small) place in Primrose Hill. If you are looking for something stylish yet classy this is where you go. I especially like their lookbook where you can see which pieces go together and how they look on a child. So you might check their site before hitting the store. An address you cannot miss with brands like Quincy, Maan, Album di Famiglia, Pepe Shoes and Bonton.

Tip: There is a very delicious Greek restaurant opposite called Lemonia.

Hop Like a Bunny

hop like...

Very cool and stylish clothes, shoes and toys for boys and girls.
Owner Maria Torregrosa carefully selects some of the best brands around: Maileg, Rice, Hucklebones, Bergstein, Bobux, Belle & Boo, Lale and many more.

Tip: Holland Park is just around the corner, a very beautiful park which you should not miss.

12 Portland Road
London, W11 4LA

Notsobig

It is a sweet little shop in a big city. They carry such beautiful and unusual lines and items. Jane, the owner, is very lovely and knowledgable. Whenever you go there be sure to find new treasures. So many unique toys and gifts and brands you will not find everywhere like Woolrich, Cacharel and antik batik.

Tip: The whole street is full of sweet little shops. So take your time and have a coffee in one of the many coffee shops in between.

31A Highgate High Street, Highgate
London, N6 5JT

Three Potato Four

A hair salon, vintage finds and an excellent mixture of modern classics, vintage statement pieces and simply one off pieces for those who come and want to dress their kids. In one word: GREAT!
Definitely one of the best selections in ONE shop!

Tip: If you have a boy and he is a football fan, Arsenal FC is not far from here.

44-45 Newington Green
London, N16 9QH

{If you feel there is a shop missing, one we really have to know about: Please share in the comment section!}
