Tocoto Vintage S/S 2017

Before we continue with the Christmas vibe and gift guides {please come back later for the Best Family Games –  they make great gifts and are perfect for spending quality time together as a family} I need to show you the new Tocoto Vintage S/S 2017 collection that I just came across.

The South of Sweden is sitting in clouds and rain at the moment {with no sign of change} so this is a welcome light. And sometimes it feels just good to step a little ‘outside’ the line and see something different…

Marta Navarro, designer and founder, started Tocoto Vintage as a baby brand four years ago.

I remember when I discovered them and how everything looked so fragile and sweet in the tiny sizes. I always loved the fabrics and dusty colours and I am happy that  Marta’s designs are available for babies and children up to 10 years of age now.

The romantic-nostalgic style runs through all collections and the upcoming Tocoto Vintage S/S 2017 collection is entirely devoted to the theme “Bohemian Life” – with inspiration coming from the island of Formentera.

You still have to wait for the collection to hit stores but have a look and select your favourite pieces so you can get them once out – Tocoto usually sells very fast! My favourites are the long skirts and tunics for boys.

I really like all the blues in this collection – reminds me of the sea, summer holidays and beautiful skies.

The combination of romanticism and nostalgic of childhood, all designed around old patterns and garments brought in antique markets, give the brand the style it is so well known for today. Together with little details such as small buttons, embroidered stars, frills and lace your kids will look effortlessly chic.
