And for some extra sunshine I am taking you to Australia today. Discovering the poetic universe of Bonne Mere (French for ‘Good Mother’).

Nicole Mair, based in Sydney, made the very first scalloped playmat when her daughter Chloe was born in 2009. 5 years later it became the signature quilt design for her bedding collection. Because in 2014 she decided to do something for herself and to be able to spend more time with her daughter. Her passion about beautiful nursery homewares and dresses made her launch Bonne Mère.

Personally I am very fond of details (as you know) and I love to see the little glamour, sparkle and romance in Nicole’s designs. A little magic that goes a long way! Look at those lovely buntings for example, adorned with some glitter and stars. What is not to love?
