Yesterday I went through all the things I bookmarked here and there. Things I liked at first sight but had no time to really look and check… I do that a lot and in some cases I actually delete things that, at 2nd sight, are not so catching anymore… and then there are lines where I cannot believe I let it sit somewhere in the dark for all that time…

Just as Son de flor.

The pictures speaking for itself… a little bit magic, a little bit nostalgia and a whole lot “to keep forever”. The kind of dress that brings {back} memories and looks gorgeous on just any occasion!

Elze and Vaida. A photographer and a fashion creative. Friends forever and now also the brain childs of this young brand. I did not read their status before I looked at the pictures and products but it is exactly what I felt:

“Our fresh yet promising brand Son de flor was born from longing for something beautiful and obvious. Something that needs no promotion nor arguing its’ value. Something more than fashion. Something fragile, feminine and strong at the same time. Something lasting. Relieving. Looking just right with high-heels as well as sandals or sporty sneakers! Many faces, yet all carrying one beautiful sound. The sound of flowers.”
All dresses are produced in a small sewing house based in the heart of Vilnius, Lithuania. Thoroughly hand-made and all the parties involved in the production processes are fairly rewarded. The fabrics come from Lithuanian and Italian producers with fair trade and Eco-friendly certificates.

It may take up to two weeks until a dress is made for you but the girls are happy to guide you through the process, especially for sizing and you will receive a beautiful paper box with a bunch of lovely postcards.
