Danish Pierrot la Lune was established in 2013 by designer Emilie Ventujol as the realization of a lifelong dream of creating timeless and sophisticated yet playful and informal childrenswear.

A touch of nostalgia, a little bit dreamy and some magic – when you look at the pictures you might think you are going through the childhood pictures of your parents.

The main part of the Pierrot la Lune collection is produced in organic, GOTS-certified cotton and the knitwear is manufactured in 100% soft Alpaca wool from the Bolivian highlands in South America. The knitted garments are handmade by Bolivian women who work under Fairtrade conditions. Through this work, they are able to support their families and secure schooling for their children.

Emilie Ventujol, has lived and worked for a number of years in India and she has brought back the distinctive local block prints, which are used in her collections in a modern way.

It is a beautiful collection with pieces that are easy to combine and that are casual enough for everyday wear yet chic for any occasion that might come along!

PS: I think the Manuela du Juan shoes used for the look book make a perfect addition to the outfits!
