A day in the park with Namuk

Spring showed up here in Sweden and everyone is excited to go out without heavy jackets and big boots. Going out without a real plan. Just wandering, strolling, running and maybe even a little stop for Fika (Swedish afternoon treat).

Slow days and no plans. Perfect week end life.

During one of those warm days we could finally try out a brand from Switzerland. Outdoor label Namuk is committed to the highest quality and continuous innovation. Ranging from the choice of the very best materials over to the child-friendly design of their features.

Once the founders became parents 10 years ago the question of suitable functional clothing for children arose.

‘The “namuk” children’s outdoor label thereby arose from our passion for perfect products, the attention to detail and lots of heart. Our offices are in Switzerland, in the heart of the Alps. Surrounded by high mountains, dense forests and shimmering lakes. Our products are produced in this inspiring environment.’

The passion and demand to be a sustainable as well as ethical brand is the main priority for Namuk. Working only with sustainable suppliers and producing as local as possible. Plus they are really strong on designing clever details and innovative functions. Romy is wearing the Primaloft Jacket which is super light, soft, water repellent and cosy warm for crisp mornings or the ‘in-between-seasons’.

In addition I can tell you that everything is made from super soft organic cotton. To last and to stay in shape for years to come. You will find clothes to run around with, to jump and to play with. Climbing trees or cycling to football training.

Namuk is available at the uber cool Swiss online shop Stadtlandkind.

Leonor is wearing the Tittles Sweater and Antoine the Badge Sweater which is made from remnants from other production lines. And Josephine has found a new friend with the blue owl.

PS: Also from Switzerland and strong on the sustainable front is the eclectic brand Where is Marlo.
