Happy New Year!

How are you? After the little break we are back and today is our first post in 2017. Woop Woop. It is always a little awkward… what to talk about on the first post? What to show? Something special or just continue where we left things? So many questions… probably too many.

And then I was checking out the Designers Remix site {for myself} and saw that their S/S 2017 collection for the little ones is already available.

I decided that this is a good post – new collection, something Scandinavian and very trendy! And something for us, mums, too.

Little Remix is a kids and teenage fashion brand that was adapted from the women’s collection. Charlotte Eskildsen launched the kids’ line in 2007 and with the choice of materials and attention to detail, Little Remix takes the best from the women’s line to create designer kid’s clothes that are ultra-stylish but remain, above all, clothing for kids.

The brand is based in Copenhagen and is for girls age 4-16.

The biggest inspiration to add a kids line came in 2006 when Charlotte became a mother. Smilla is the model in all the Little Remix campaigns.
The collections are very cool, minimalistic and effortless. I love that they go up to age 16. My eldest will turn 10 this summer and I can see how her style is changing. I can very much picture her in these pieces. Chic, a little sporty, perfect street style and mix&match potential which makes them practical.

My key pieces – this smock dress that is screaming summer. And this skirt which is perfect all year round and can be worn in many ways – tights, tee, jumper, hi tops, ballerinas and and and…
