NYC based infant clothing line “Layered Cake” was conceived by a young couple, Nicholas and Anastasiya, shortly after their first daughter, Sasha, was born.

During the first hot NYC summer, they developed the idea of a 100% Muslin Cotton Baby Clothing Line.
Breathable. Lightweight. Soft.
For babies from 0-12 months.

Breathability and comfort is the focus of the line. Because summers do not last all year around in the and babies need to be “layered” for the cooler months of spring, fall and winter.
Hence the name “Layered Cake”. The line offers various numbers of muslin layers depending on the season.
