Hej, this is a new column starting today.
It will be about kids rooms. Kids rooms I like and find inspiring.
First of all because I see far too many kids rooms that look like out of a catalogue or put together with things that are trendy right now. Everyone their taste but often these rooms seem so sad and lonely. Gray walls, design posters, design furniture… coffee table books…
I like a room with a little “mess”, toys… a real room where people feel kids are actually living and sleeping in there. Of course you clean up, style etc for the pictures but still, keep it real! :)
I love to decorate and find great things for the rooms of my kids. A real passion… another reason this new column is a good fit!
So I want to share this kind of rooms and I want to share, as much as I can, where the stuff is from. I am receiving many e mails asking where to get beds, boxes, shelves etc… so I will try my best to find and link to the products in these rooms.
I hope you like the idea.
Lets start with the room above – the first picture.
In fashion you would probably say – perfect mix between high street and designer wear.
The bed is from OEUF and I spot IKEA here and there. The storage unit as well as the play kitchen.

Of course I love this one, because who does not love giant Miffy? We have it too, our souvenir from Amsterdam!
Cushions are from Ferm Living and the garland from Numero74.
Really like the dots and the vintage crate that is painted in a nice blue.
Simple room with great classics. The crib is from Kalon. The rocker from Sirch and such a simple and good looking toy – we have it too.
The lamp could be a DIY but something similar exists from Bloomingville.

This is not a full room but I love the idea. Personal fairy lights. You can add pictures, photos as you or your child like. Very sweet!
