Interior Tuesday and we are visiting this beautiful family apartment in the heart of Stockholm. I was instantly drawn to the wonderful mix of modern, original features and vintage.
And it has a lush perspective too, because the apartment has a direct exit to an amazing courtyard!
Situated in the neighbourhood of Vasatan in Stockholm, this place is fantastic for families. Parks, shops, close to the center and full of life.
We can find the typical deep window sills (I miss them!), original windows, high ceilings, high floor sills and great wooden floors.

My favourite is the kitchen and I love that it is an open floor plan. Lots of light, and such a tasteful and very modern kitchen. The washed walls, colours of the cabinets, and that large dining table right by the window. Love it!
The whole place was renovated in 2015 with new electricity, a new floor plan, and the even raised the ceiling. Put great colours on all the walls, installed that stunning kitchen, and now it is on the market…
Can you see that the window sills are so deep, that you can actually use them as a desk?
And it is Stockholm…
If you are not planning to move there, you should absolutely go and visit. Especially during this time of the year… going through the Archipelago, strolling the streets, and enjoying the special Scandinavian light and air. It is special and beautiful!
