Dress my room {guest post}

Hello – my name is Ursula, I’m a Dutch interior designer living in London and I specialize in children’s rooms. I blog about kids decor over on the Room to Bloom blog and I am VERY excited to be a guest here on Paul & Paula today.

Knowing that many of you visit here for kids fashion inspiration, I thought it would be fun to see if I could turn an outfit into a room. I recently visited kids trade show Bubble London where I spotted a gorgeous little dress by new brand Little Troll.
I love its simple styling with the drape neck and waist tie. The cut evokes the 1960s to me, whilst the fabric has a 1950s feel. I had a lot of fun creating a board with items inspired by the dress. Here is the result:

If you’re stuck for inspiration for your child’s room, the answer could be in what clothes, shoes, and accessories they love to wear or that you love seeing them in. Take a good look and search for the patterns, colours and textures that define their look. These are the same things to look out for when scouting for things to furnish their bedroom. I loved doing this and I hope you will too. For more inspiration you’re always welcome to pop by on the Room to Bloom blog.
