My white cup

My white cup
Oh hello Monday. I am still in London today and my head is full of fantastic ideas and beautiful things I saw so far.
And how could we start a week better than with some crisp and fresh goodies.

Just recently I stumbled upon this beautiful etsy shop called My White Cup. Run by Orinta Gaileviciene out of Vilnius, Lithuania .

‘I am a lover of the colour white, light tones and shades. I even drink my tea from a white cup only.
That’s how I got the idea to unite all my work under one name – MY WHITE CUP.’

These Little Treasures – Wish Pixies

These Little Treasures - Wish Pixies
Just before Christmas we received a little box all the way from Australia. And when we opened it we met four little friends. Pixies to be precise.
The box come from the memory makers, whimsy creators and childhood dreamers of These Little Treasures.

‘The new range of Wish Pixies that we have recently released expand on these values and aim to help children overcome the challenges of growing up. Each doll has a tiny Pixie Pocket on its back which can be used by the parent to leave messages of encouragement to the child.’

These cute little friends are made of cotton/linen fabric and are printed from an original water colour painting. Sweet little cotton jersey dangly legs, fine tulle wings, felt ears and other exquisite details.

They are really a little magical and a lovely little gift!

For Josephine we found a Pixie Bebe that we had to wake up. It was sleeping, probably all the way from Australia, in it’s little bed.

Ah, I love little things like this. Beautiful whimsical and perfect to sit on a shelf or chair next to your bed. For sweeter dreams and big wishes!

Confiture De Poeme

confiture de poeme.

Today we celebrate Santa Lucia here in Sweden. The kids dress up, there is lots of singing, gingerbread and coffee for the adults. Cosy!

And therefore I have something very sweet for you here today. The universe of Anaïs Natiembé called Confiture De Poeme.

Beautiful dolls handmade in Lyon, France with a lot of love, details and creativity.

‘My sources of inspiration are often Asian, because I love the Japanese culture, especially the big eyes, often fearful, shy or grumpy.’

I love these very feminine soft sculptures with their slender bodies and small faces with lots of personality! Sweet and well made, packed in beautiful handmade boxes and so full of heart warming details. Think sequin embroidery, pearls and golden threads.
The color and fabric selections are on point and the embroidered touches make these dolls truly special.

Konfetti Kids – new kids store in Barcelona

Konfetti Kids - new kids store in Barcelona
Barcelona is THE city at the moment and if you happen to live there {lucky you!} or planning a trip, then take note now: there is a new kids shop called KONFETTI KIDS that opened just recently in the Barrio Gotico disctrict. And it looks really super inviting and fun.

And so does the online shop by the way, I love the illustrations.

Claudia is originally from Bergamo, Italy.
After her studies she collected some professional experiences in women’s wear, where she had the chance to travel and fall in love with Berlin.
Five years ago Claudia decided to move to Berlin, met her husband Michael and in March 2015  their daughter Lilien was born.

Since Lilien Claudia’s interest in the world of kids wear started to grow. Thinking about quality and good design and how to combine both. The starting point for her ‘project’.

In 2016, the family decided to move to Barcelona and in May this year Claudia found the perfect location for KONFETTI KIDS in a beautiful street of the Barrio Gotico and her project became finally real!

So, yes, the concept was conceived in Berlin and is now based in Barcelona. A concept store for the whole family with a hand-picked selection of international brands for children that reflects her passion for good quality and design.
