The boho and effortless clothes you will want to buy your kids this summer!

children’s fashion brand Búho

Ola! Are you looking for laid back, comfortable and easy to wear yet kinda cool and boho clothes for your children? Pieces they will enjoy whilst hanging out at home or in the park, but are also totally cool.

If yes, then I have something for you today. Because Búho pays has a very soft spot for clothes that are effortless, well-made and that you will be happy to see your kids wearing every day.

Think organic fabrics, unique colours and distinctive motifs. Their range goes from clothes for babies and up to children’s size 12 years. It is a beautifully relaxed brand, with a touch of elegance. Just as I like it and just how I see dressing my children as well as myself actually.

Now let’s have a look at their new Spring/Summer collection that just launched:

‘When we create our clothing, our aim is always that it is comfortable and that it is made from sustainable materials. We produce all of our clothing locally, mainly around Barcelona. We love creating our own motifs because it reinforces the brand’s identity and makes it even more unique. ‘

My favourite styles from the current collection:

A very versatile and cute cardigan that will help when the mornings are still crisp. Available in two earthy colours.

This light and airy romper that looks so comfortable and I will always love stripes.

A romantic summer dress. Because we all need one!

Some very sweet shorts.

I think they represent the signature points of Búho really well: style, comfort and sustainability.

All about Easter Bunnies!

easter for kids

To finish this week, I would like send you into the Easter Mood. With rabbits, eggs, lots of mellow yellow, and Spring inspiration.

And since Easter will be very early this year, in fact it is only 4 weeks away, you may want to start getting your Easter Eggs in a row…

Do you have any plans? Sounds like a stupid question with the pandemic, but here in the UK we might be able to see another family by then. Outside that is! Which is cool, and I am crossing everything I have for brilliant weather and lots of delicious picnics. Little things to look forward to.

And why not getting the kids a quirky bunny print shirt or even funky socks? A super soft knitted rabbit will be a friend forever and that pencil drawing too.

Hopefully the Easter Bunny will not be too cold. Here is some inspiration for a fun Easter week end:

1. Rabbit swaddle. (various colours available)

2. Bunny ears beanie in mint or rose.

3. Beautiful pencil drawing of a little rabbit.

4. Baby alpaca knitted bunny.

5. Bunny teether.

6. Funky socks.

7. Quirky and organic bunny print tee.

8. Cool leggings. Will make for a cool Easter Egg Hunt!

9. Mellow Yellow. Super soft muslin cotton jumpsuit! I love it and there are other beautiful colours available too.

10. Wooden figurine.

Happy Easter and have a look for some Spring Vibes for big and for small!

23 happy things for your March!

23 happy things for your March!
Hello Hello… we are going straight into March and with my children going back to school in a week, I can (again) finally focus more on my projects again. Phew…

One quote that, for me personally, really hits the nail on the head these days is: ‘You grow with your challenges!’
And we do. And therefore, we are still able to keep going, to see the positive side effects, and to be resilient.

But let’s not get to spiritual because that is not really my area. However I am very aware that by now the UK is doing quite well when it comes to vaccines and planning. And we were presented with a plan that shows a light at the end of the tunnel. Such a relief. And I know that maybe in your home country the situation can be very different.
Stay Strong! Stay Healthy!

And enjoy my 23 happy things for your March:

Happy spring clothes for kids!

spring clothes kids

Good Morning everyone! How are you? Over the last days we thankfully changed from freezing to nearly Spring. And it is so appreciated!

And it means that over the last days we woke up to the sun. Such a mood booster! Which made me think that Spring is really coming along. Therefore I had to go and check what is in store to give your little one’s wardrobe a little Spring Lift.

Below you can find some of my favourites and they all work great when it comes to layers. Crisp mornings still need some tights or leggings and a cardigan on top. And later you can wear it with light shoes. Perfect!

Of course, you will find lots of unisex pieces too. Keeping it simple and easy.

Please enjoy my edit of Spring clothes for the kids:

Swing the 50’s with this creative children’s line

Roly Pony

Not long ago I had the chance to discover the latest collection from Roly Pony and immediately fell in love with it. I got to know the brand a few years ago and I think their collections are getting better and better with each season.

For this Spring/ Summer Aytan was inspired by the 50’s. And we can enjoy beautiful swing dresses, three quarter sleeves or large pockets. Paired with accented collars and floating fabrics.

But the best really are the prints. They are all designed by Roly Pony who are based right here in London. And they do add the right coolness as well as elegance to each style!

Let’s have a look at this new edgy collection for children swinging in the 50’s:

My Leonor had the honour to select a piece from the new collection. And she went straight for this lovely blue dress. The styling with the sneakers in the photo is absolutely my cup of tea. And Leonor cannot wait for warmer days to wear the dress outside. It is such a great piece, elegant and yet easy to wear to any occasion…

Roly Pony Roly Pony

That jacket is stunning! I know! It is not available yet… but probably a smart idea to keep an eye out because I have the feeling it will sell very quickly…

Roly Pony Roly Pony

And what do you think? Isn’t a fun, playful as well as sophisticated collection?

Good to know: Roly Pony added some sweet accessories to complete your outfit to their store. And if you are in need of a little gift, you can find some lovely things for that as well. We love a great one stop shopping experience!

It is not long until Spring starts and we can hopefully wear some lighter outfits very soon…

Have a look at these cute sandals, for mums and girls, they may go very well with these outfits…
