After some tweeting and giggling I finally met the lovely Yanina (on the right on the picture above)from Aravore. And we had a really fun time. She was showing and explaining me the whole collection, telling me a bit about her backgrounds and what does it take to start your own company. Very interesting…
I love to listen to people’s stories and even more from somebody whose designs I admire.

Aravore only uses organic cotton and merino wool for their collections, everything is so beautiful, full of love, soft and telling a story. Do you know what I mean? The basic collection consists of lovely knitted items like booties, blankets and cardigans. Handmade (actually handknitted) in Paraguay. Every item comes in a beautiful gift box, making it easy to keep your kids first items forever!

But but but…. Aravore does a limited edition collection for every season made from vintage fabrics. A dream! Absolutely adorable! The colour palette for S/S 2012 is gorgeous and I am in love with that sweet baby romper you see on the picture…
And the dresses are screaming for some summer weddings next year :)
