Last weekend we swapped our wardrobes for the Autumn/ Winter season. Summer dresses, shorts, and sandals are waiting in their boxes until next year. Out are the chunky sweaters, layering shirts and tights.
New season, new fashion game!
And since I love all seasons I am happy to find my cosy sweaters and trench coat again. Furthermore, I am excited to check out the new collections and adding a great piece to my wardrobe.
We talked about ‘why shop small’ and you know that I am very much for ‘buying less but good quality’. Packing up my summer clothes and bringing out the Autumn/ Winter things also helps to check if there is something I need. So when I am browsing the shops (on- and offline) I focus on that.
One great destination to find sustainable, fun clothes that not everyone is wearing is definitely Etsy. Therefore I am sharing my ten favourite women’s fashion stores with you here today.
Wonderful autumn styles for mums that are timeless, chic, comfortable, and stunning:
The Cool One:
This small clothing design studio is based in the USA and was founded in 2014. Lauren creates high quality, statement designs that reflect the individuality of the wearer. The cool part: You can select your favourite fabric (hemp, linen, tencel, and organic cotton for example) for your selected piece of clothing. It will then be made for you!
The pictured jumpsuit is a finalist in the Etsy Design Awards 2019 and it is pretty clear why. The fabric is fantastic, the cut and style are beautiful, and the fit is perfect.
Pssst, I put this ivory/blue top on my wishlist. It is perfect!
The Boho One:
Maxi dresses, boho looks, and more hand made gorgeousness in this lovely shop run by sisters.
Also, burnt orange is T H E colour right now and, obviously, perfect for autumn. And that skirt ticks a lot of Indian Summer boxes. Here you can find comfortable clothes, and that makes you feel great. Because it is all about enjoying being a woman, and at the same time looking good and feeling awesome.
My personal favourite is this maxi dress with pockets and a very relaxed fit. It comes in many colours, and with our without sleeves.
The Cosy One:
This sustainable knitwear label was founded by three best friends who set out to create the perfect knit. One that is sustainable, has a contemporary feel, empowers women making them, but also doesn’t break the bank.
The hit the nail right on the head!
The Linen One:
One of my absolute favourite shops and I am proudly owning a dress as well as a jumpsuit from them already. And not so patiently waiting for another dress I just ordered last week to add to my little collection. Linen at its best! Cool clothes, great colours, and such good quality! And I love that their dresses are available in different lengths – midi & maxi.
There even is a mama dress – with a loose fit to accommodate a growing belly and to have extra room for body changes and easy breastfeeding.
You can also find bed linen, bags, and more lovely things for the home.
The Tailored One:
More linen but more fitted this time. As much as I love a very comfortable, loose dress, I think it is nice to wear a more tailored and elegant dress from time to time too. If you agree, you need to have a look at Vaida’s universe.
Because Vaida makes some very pretty clothes that are so thoughtfully designed. Skirts with side seam pockets, with beautiful drapes, hems that weigh down ever so slightly without adding bulk to the hips. Everything is striking just the right balance between elegance and comfort.

The Comfy One:
Heart-made clothes (I love that expression!) for women and little girls. Simona does not produce seasonal collections but specialises on individual orders. Every piece for each client is created with dedication and sensitivity, resulting in sincere, functional and intelligent clothes.
By the way, this MiniMe look might be the best out there!
The Wrapped One:
I am waiting for this skirt at the moment and in my head, I am already planning different outfits that will go with it.
This shop has some maternity styles as well – like this maxi dress or this maternity wrap dress. There are lots of gorgeous autumn colours available at the moment, like forest green, burgundy, terracotta, or dusty lavender.
The Embroidered One:
There are a few things that I cannot resist. Books, great knits and… embroidery. The workmanship, texture, and patterns get me every time. And those heirloom pieces just never get out of style. This Etsy shop has some gorgeous pieces and each item is made with love and care. Combining traditional embroidery with modern designs making you look fabulous at any occasion. This dress especially is gorgeous!
The Chic One:
Recognized for its playful, feminine spirit, this brand embodies an effortless elegance that is full of wit and whimsy. And the perfect balance between minimal, clean and feminine, with some playful touches.
