Do you remember Kico Kids? The ubercool brand was stopped because designer Tia Cibani needed and wanted a break. After a while she came back with a collection for women.

Loyal retailers and fans of Kico Kids urged her to design a kids line again – using the fabrics and style of her women line. TiA CiBANi Kids was launched in 2016 and it could not be more quirky and cheeky.

The New York based designer with the artful designs and the right amount of sophistication definitely dresses our kids in very special garments.

The Spring/Summer 2017 collection bathes in a festival of colors. Sun-bleached spice tones and seersucker stripes.  are Crisp chino and Japanese paper denim. Colorful dresses and extravagant details.

Catering to girls and boys, ages 2-14, the collection speaks to the joy of childhood with designs that are playful and fun.

Cool tutu skirts that are 3D pleated in candy wrapper taffeta that crunch. Tops and dresses with lots of volume for added drama. Smart shapes for the boys with subtle design details and lots of checks and stripes.

All over you can find easy-to-wear silhouettes, novelty trims and pieces that do double duty and yet stand out. The dresses are gorgeous and I love the shoe collaboration with Nathalie Verlinden.
