2 weeks ago I went to Helsingborg {ca. 45 min by car or train from Malmo} to visit Anna and her family and to photograph their beautiful house or better – the kids rooms. I found Anna’s home via her Instagram and you should totally check it out – Life in Sweden at it’s best.

Who lives here? Maarten, 35 & Anna, 35 and their daughters Roosje, 4 & Lieve 2.

Today I am showing you Lieve’s room and very soon the lovely place of her sister Roosje. The family moved to Sweden from their hometown Amsterdam {our old home} 1 year ago. When househunting they first tried to find a place in the center of Helsingborg until they were showed this place:

“I really felt in love with the house. The high ceilings, windows and off course the view! We first had some problems with who slept where. First I thought it would be nice if the children slept together but that didn’t work out. They woke each other up in the morning and at night. Then we decided to ‘give’ the biggest (and most beautiful) room to my eldest to use as a sleeping room and playroom. It turned out perfect!”

This vintage drawer in white and yellow, was bought at a flea market in Zeeland  {Holland} and is definitely the “master piece” in the room.

The L O V E print is by Helen Lang. {Lieve is Dutch and means Love}

I love all the original features in the room and how you can use the “build in shelves” to display books, frames and treasures.

The cot is from IKEA and made cosy with lots of friends and bed linen and a pretty fish blanket from Garbo & Friends.

The lamp is from RICE.

The rug is a great way to add colour and you can find something similar here.

Such a sweet room with lots of details!
