When two cool kids brands collaborate it usually results into something fabulous. Putting creative minds together can make for a powerful product.

Some will sound like a match made in heaven, other might take you by surprise. Similar styles evolve into something wonderful, and very opposite brand identities are innovative and surprising.

Whatever it is, these matches are more and more important in the fashion world. Reach new customers, staying relevant, and especially being able to offer products out of your ‘normal collections’ in a fast paced world.

Personally, I love them too. Because they often bring some fresh air, a new point of view and something fun!

Therefore, I am sharing the coolest kids brands collaborations in the shops right now:

AIGLE x MATHILDE CABANAS

This collab makes happy, even in the rain! The comfortable rain boots from Aigle with a little sweetness of everyday life. Mathilde Cabanas revisited the famous Lolly Pop Boot* for the pleasure of the little ones. (and of course their mums too!)

REEBOK X THE ANIMALS OBSERVATORY

The Animals Observatory have collaborated* with global sportswear brand Reebok in order to bring their most iconic shapes to life. A unique and fashionable approach to children’s sneakers. These iconic Reebok styles pay homage to the vintage look and bold designs that both brands are known for.

POUDRE ORGANIC x CHARLOTTE PRIOU

The softest pieces, as we know them, in subtle colours from Poudre Organic. And this season with a sweet peacock print designed by Charlotte Priou.

VEJA X BONTON

Two hot French brands joined forces. The collaboration* mixes the minimalist aesthetics of Veja and Bonton’s timeless touch. Together they designed a line of 4 sneakers in a retro colour scheme. Available in two designs, two exclusive colours, and with laces in organic cotton or velcro.

BONJOUR GEORGE x JOJO FACTORY

Backpacks, lunch bags and other important accessories for school and/or nursery just got a cool look. The collab* between bag designer Jojo and pattern master George is divine.

RYLEE AND CRU X MON PETIT SHOES

A lovely collection of hard and soft-soled shoes to complement your child’s autumn wardrobe! With 2 prints designed by the incredible rylee + cru for mon petit shoes. All shoes in the collection are handmade in the USA!

ORGANIC ZOO X JAMES WILSON

Organic Zoo has just announced a collaboration with local Brighton artist, James Wilson. This is an exciting and exclusive collection of limited edition art inspired sweaters, comprising of 4 unique, abstract designs. The concept behind the collection plays on the desire to be in harmony with the universe and to live a natural, simple life.

Yes! I can talk about children knitwear again… and without any big explanation… because we are heading into Autumn and it is time to get cosy. Yay.

So exciting!

And thinking about the transition, I believe that in the end I do not have a favourite season. I love them all and every single one for a specific reason. And getting the heavier knits out when Autumn comes along (and after that winter) is definitely on the list.

And as you know, one of the sweetest knitwear brands for little people is based in Berlin. I talked about Petit Kolibri before and I am so happy to show you the images from their latest collection:

Hello Hello! We have just a little over a week and the kids will go back to school. The yearly reminder of how quick they grow up and that summer is coming to an end. (and the big hope for a kind autumn!)

And it is the step into the new season too. New collections landed in the shops and a few more are coming soon. We are lucky that August is very warm and sunny and our summer pieces can show off a few more times.

But this will not last forever and if you want to snap up the best pieces from the new Autumn/ Winter collections you should have a look now. One of our all time favourite brands, nununu from Isreal, is always worth checking it. Casual, cool, independent clothing of high quality that is perfect for school days, weekends, and occasions!

I have shown you many nununu collections and pieces before and the brand never stops to amaze me. Because they add something special all the time. A new cool colour or prints.
