The universe of Barbara Berrada is not new here on the blog but it’s been a while {too long} I shared her talent and creations with you.

Les Zigouis was created in 2008 and everything is hand made in France. Since I know the brand it’s style never changed. It is a little old fashioned, a little quirky and very very cute. The hats are famous and the Vintage fabrics make sure you will buy something very special for your little one…

Jacadi’s All Dressed Up holiday collection

Paul&Paula blog: Jacadi holiday collection
During Christmas time I am always drawn to some good classics. A good dress, sweet shoes and a lovely cardigan for example.

I have no idea why… I love the cosy season and the funky and bright just do not really fit in there.

So when I am checking THE French label of French labels Jacadi, I can see everything I am looking for.

Look at the Nutcracker-inspired “Holiday Hues” and “All Dressed Up” holiday collections. Jacadi has come up with an adorable line of knits, elegant pleated dresses and accessories for special occasions and celebrations.

Everything is time less and from the best quality so it will last forever and you can wear it with anything else already in the wardrobe and, especially, when the festive season is over and you feel {like me} it’s time to add some more colours and “cool” again.

Also I cannot recommend the coats enough, they are so cute, super warm and for me the best thing you can get if you are looking for the “French style”.

And the shoes… so pretty next to the Christmas tree, discovering the gift pile…

Swoon!

Oscar et Valentine

Paul&Paula blog: Oscar et Valentine

If you read this blog for a little already then you know that I believe that sometimes we need a treat. For us, for the kids, for people we love around us and probably and especially when a new baby joins us!

You also know that I am a big knitwear fan and like to “invest” in high quality pieces to keep my kids {and myself} warm!

Oscar et Valentine are experts in cashmere for babies and toddlers. The small and exclusive label stands for high quality cashmere clothing of the finest quality.

In the heart of Paris, Stéphanie Lenoir designs unique and modern items for her signature collection of baby clothing. All in timeless French colours: you can find cashmere jumpers, cardigans and hoodies, leggings, bodysuits and even booties and blankets.

Cashmere is very soft, lightweight and particularly temperature balancing and therefore meets all the needs of sensitive baby skin.

Great gifts for newborns, christenings and 1st birthdays because when too small you can keep it in the lovely gift bag everything comes in and put in the box of treasures!

Petit Bateau bébé A/W 2014

What can I say… Petit Bateau is just always good.

All my kids wear it since they were born and some things, especially onesies, have been worn by all three of them. When we went to France in June to visit one part of the family, I stocked up on pyjamas and underwear B I G time.

It is quality, it is time less and it is practical. Something you cannot say for many brands in this fast running world we live in. And as much as I love all these funky and cool brands, I just need some good basics to pair it with or it is too much for my taste… but ok… back to Petit Bateau.

Above you see the look book for the current A/W baby collection and isn’t adorable? Makes me want to have another one just for that… and again, I always liked to dress my babies in soft colours and simple shapes. They are so tiny. Bright and popping tones can wait a little…

I love the cardigans and truly believe every child should have at least one of those and those.
