Bright family home in an old dairy shop

Bright family home in an old dairy shop
Last week I decided that I really want to share more interiors over here on Paul & Paula. Family homes. Places that inspire you, that tell a story and that give ideas for your own home.

Yes, I love kids fashion and all that. And I feature lots of collections, new brands and trends but sometimes we need a little break from clothes don’t you think? Plus putting our eyes on something different might give us a better view too… {do you know what I mean?}

And how could this new interior game have a better start than with a really cool place right here in Malmö?

Emma and Steven Parkinson live in an old dairy shop and hairdressing salon in Rörsjöstaden in Malmö. They were looking for a place that was different and special and by accident found this spot. Once they realized it was for sale they knew that this would be their future home!

It has lots of light {something that I would always put very high on my MUST list when hunting for a place to live} and of course some cool features from its former life.

This is a very Scandinavian home – bright, light, lots of white, clean lines and just very few colorful accents. Chic minimalist decor with a perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics.

Just simple and beautiful. And if you think – where is the mess? My house always looks like a bomb exploded when the kids are around. I can ensure you that Scandinavian kids are not different but people here do not like ‘stuff’ or clutter or however you would like to call it. They like it ‘little’, they like space and they like it organized. Less is more!

Hope you like some lovely interiors, especially the Scandinavian ones. There will be more next week!
