My last ‘full post’ on Atsuyo et Akiko dates back to May 2011. That is nearly 6 years. Time to re-fresh I think.
When you look at that post from 2011 and the pictures from today you can see that the brand is still surfing on the same wave.
The brand is based in Brooklyn, New York. And since 2007, Atsuyo Yang & Akiko Mukae design a selection of sweet and charming children’s clothing, home décor, bags, accessories and jewelry. Whimsical items adorned with fun little charms or quirky prints. Each product shows an air of uniqueness!

I think the two designers really bring their own world of imagination into their designs. Storytelling through art – expressed in clothing and accessories. It is all about a magical happy childhood!
There is a lot of attention to detail and poetry. The sequins, the little bling, the tutu’s and bright colours. Crazy cool but with lots of love.

PS: The long tutu dresses are definitely my favourite – so classy!
