A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon! Caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.

Rainbows appear in seven colours because water droplets break white sunlight into the seven colours of the spectrum. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. You can only see a rainbow if the Sun is behind you and the rain in front.
Rainbows are rare and beautiful. And kids love them. They make us happy, we love to draw them. We like to give them artistic variations and get creative with the colours.
