Aren’t hair clips just hair clips? No they are not and especially not if you love accessories as much as I do.

They make an outfit {or ruin it} and I love pretty details on my kids too!
And these are so adorable… all these clips are made with super soft suedes from Italy, fabrics from French mills, alpaca, wool, and cashmere pom-poms, and nickel-free hardware for little ones.

Kirsten Yadouga-Schwinn – designer of The Littles – has always been passionate about clever design details, amazing color, and beautiful materials. Now as a new mom, she is equally passionate about making things that are not only beautiful but also non-toxic and locally produced.

“I wanted something cool, super cute (obv!) but not super embellished – my daughter needed something to keep her growing bangs out of her face, but she put everything in her mouth. plus, sometimes you just don’t need that much sparkle. so as an accessory designer for over a decade, I knew what I had to do – design my own. I call the littles baby-safer because while no hair clip is truly 100% baby safe (the clip itself is considered a small part), the littles are made without beads, rhinestones, or any hard embellishments and are wear-tested by my very thorough and official quality control team – my 20 month old toddler.”

Made by hand in a small (very small!) design studio in Brooklyn,NY, The Littles are very well loved with my two girls and as you can see they even let me take photos {and I took lots} as long as they could keep the clips….

PS: I like that they come in a nice big size because my kids {especially my eldest} have so much hair that these tiny kids sizes do not work at all.
