Vibeke K Johansen moved from Oslo to Brooklyn with Ella and her little brother and to her big surprise: no warm clothes, meaning wool, to find anywhere.
"Didn’t American parents know about the wonderful secret of pure wool? That a single, thin layer of super soft merino wool under your kids’ ordinary clothes makes all the amazing difference?"
So Ella’s Wool was established in 2012, showing you how easy it is to dress your child with a super soft and thin merino wool layer under the clothes when it’s below 50 °F (10 °C). Plus, they have some adorable, soft alpaca clothing to wear over the merino base layer too.
And good to know: On babies, merino wool is recommended all year round, because it will keep your baby warm when it’s cold, and cool and dry when it’s hot and humid.
You probably know already that it is very common in Scandinavia that kids play outside even in Winter and yes, there is nothing like bad weather just "bad" clothes. Ella’s Wool is here to change this.
And now, no more freezing :)
The shop is here.
