According to designers Kevin & Thijs:
“The idea was to design a bed for children between the ages of four and twelve, that makes a connection with a random bedtime story. Together with the fantasy of the child the bed will be whatever the story tells.”

This is one very clever idea. I do not know any family where books are not included in the evening ritual. It is a lovely family moment and an important one in so many ways. Learning, relaxing, bonding and finishing a busy day.

Ridder & Clown created the Bedtime Stories bed and everything is so clever:

One side of the frame may be used as book storage while the other side may be used to lean up during reading. There is also a cut out to serve as a puppet or peekaboo stage. {Why not play what you read?} With the blanket you can make a tent, a carpet or whatever fun ideas the kids come up with.

Love it and I hope the word will spread so the bed can go on production very soon. Want one? Contact them and hop you go…
