Blü {kids fashion from Montreal}

Hello everyone!
My name is Chantale and I blog over at The Adventures of SkinnyMiniKiki .
I am extremely grateful and happy to be able to guest post here on Paul & Paula's wonderful kid's design blog for you while Peggy gets a well deserved t
ime off.

As there are so many european and american brands showcased here on this blog, I wanted to share a home-grown, Montreal kid's clothing brand that I am absolutely in love with called Blü. Started in 1999 by Suzanne Foucault and partner André Daigle, Blü has become one of the premier kids clothing concept shops in Quebec and sold all over North America. When I enter their stores, I can't help but walk out with 2 or more items.. They're on the pulse with fashion, with knowing what kids love (to me, much more important than what I want or love) and there's a happy marriage between great price point, design and good taste. There's also a lot of whimsy and details in the clothes! Plus the fact that it's a Montreal-based company makes me love it even more.

You will have seen my daughter Keira wearing Blü clothing on our blog including her entire outfit that we chose together for her first time ever, seeing the Nutcracker during the holidays. She loves the ruffled skirt!

I love going into their beautiful concept stores and I get caught up with the easy-care dresses, accessories and I love how Keira and I can agree to just about anything she picks out. There's no cringe factor. Although I have been smitten by european kids brands as much as everyone else, this is one Canadian company that I think is on par with them all.

You can visit Blü by Blü's website here: http://www.blubyblu.com/index_alt.html and also visit and 'Like' them on Facebook here.

If you plan on making a visit to our belle Province, please make their shops one of your visits too!

Thanks so much for having me over Peggy! I hope I imparted a touch of Montréal to your blog...

{PS: The little beauty on the last pictures is Keira, Chantale's daughter}
Thank you Chantale for this lovely post!

Bianca and Family {kids rooms gallery}

The super fabulous online shop Bianca & Family has a little column that I love.
Ma chambre.
They invite their customers/ readers to send pictures of kids room. Their kids rooms.
And there are really cool places to see.
And what I like most you will definitely find some real good ideas how to add some colour or *bliss*... these are not superstylish and high-designed kids rooms. No, these are real rooms, for little people, decorated with love...
Enjoy!
